Is this a dress rental business?
Yes! Most of our gowns are available to rent for photoshoots, events, and special occasions. Rental pricing allows you to wear something beautiful without the full-cost commitment.
Do you offer shipping?
Yes, we offer domestic shipping within the United States. Your dress will be shipped directly to your address, and your rental period begins the day you receive it.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes, local pickup is available for those in the Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR areas. Pickup and drop-off times will be scheduled after booking.
Are any of the dresses available for purchase?
Yes! Some dresses are available to purchase. If a dress is available to buy, it will be clearly stated in the listing. If the listing does not mention purchasing, it is rental-only.
How long is the rental period?
Rentals are between 7 to 14 days, starting the day you receive the dress.
Is cleaning included?
Yes, cleaning is included in the rental price. Please do not wash or spot-treat the dress yourself.
What happens if the dress gets damaged?
Rental order includes coverage for minor mishaps and general wear and tear. Please do not attempt to repair any damages or treat any stains before returning your items. Rent With Alina is highly skilled at repairing most rips, stains, and pulls, and we’ll take care of everything once it arrives back to us.
Significant damage, excessive staining, lost pieces, or theft are not covered. In these cases, you will be charged up to the retail price of the item if necessary. Please read the Additional Information section for product care and optional damage coverage.
If something happens, please just let us know. We’re here to help, not to shame.
Can I try on the dresses before renting?
Absolutely! Local try-on appointments are available depending on schedule and dress availability. Message to arrange an appointment.

Product Care, Responsibility & Optional Damage Coverage
By renting from Rent With Alina, you agree to treat all garments and accessories with reasonable care and respect.
Normal Wear & Tear
Your rental includes coverage for normal wear and tear. “Normal wear and tear” refers to minor stains, small rips, loose threads, missing beads, stuck zippers, or other minor damage that can reasonably occur during wear. Please do not attempt to repair or clean items yourself; we have trusted professionals who handle all repairs and cleaning upon return.
Damage Beyond Normal Wear
You are responsible for any loss, destruction, or damage beyond normal wear and tear for any reason, including but not limited to theft, loss, disappearance, fire, excessive staining, major tears, structural damage, or missing components (such as detachable sleeves, belts, overskirts, crowns, or accessories).
If a rental item is returned damaged beyond normal wear and tear (or not returned at all), you authorize Rent With Alina (or our third-party payment processor) to charge your payment method for the cost of repair or replacement, as determined at our discretion, up to the original retail value or comparable replacement value of the rental item.
Optional Damage Coverage – $25 Flat Fee (Add-On)
Rent With Alina offers optional Damage Coverage for a flat, non-refundable $25 per rental.
This optional add-on helps protect both you and Rent With Alina. If you purchase Damage Coverage at the time of booking and damage occurs beyond normal wear and tear, your financial responsibility is limited to the $25 coverage fee already paid.
Damage Coverage functions similarly to rental car damage insurance and must be selected at the time of rental. It is non-refundable and cannot be added after damage has occurred.
Damage Coverage does not cover:
• Theft
• Loss or non-return
• Missing pieces or accessories
• Intentional damage
In those cases, replacement charges up to the full retail value may still apply.
Fairy Wing Care Agreement
Fairy Wing Rental Care Instructions
These wings are handcrafted works of art and require gentle handling throughout your rental period.
Wearing
Wings must always be secured to a properly fitted corset.
Never attempt to attach wings to clothing, dresses, bras, or your body directly.
Do not sit, lean back, or lie down while wearing the wings.
Be mindful of doorways, tree branches, walls, and other people when moving.
Have someone assist you when putting on or removing the wings whenever possible.Handling
Always carry the wings by the corset/backplate—not by the individual wing panels.
Never bend, fold, twist, or force the wings into a smaller shape.
Keep away from pets, children, sharp objects, excessive heat, candles, or open flames.
Avoid heavy rain, strong wind, or muddy conditions.Transportation
Transport only in the provided storage bag or protective packaging.
Lay flat whenever possible.
Do not place heavy objects on top of the wings.Cleaning
Do not wash.
Do not steam.
Do not use cleaners or chemicals.
If dirt or debris is present, notify us upon return rather than attempting to clean them yourself.Damage Policy
The renter accepts responsibility for any damage occurring during the rental period beyond normal wear.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Broken support wires
Torn wing membranes
Bent or warped frames
Detached wing sections
Missing decorative elements
Water damage
Excessive staining
Damage resulting from improper storage or transportation
Repair or replacement costs will be assessed based on the extent of the damage.
